A trade show exhibit is made to last a long time; however, it can become outdated. Your organization’s goals, brand, guidelines and logo may have changed since you purchased your display. Does your display reflect these changes?

Fortunately, there are some simple things you can do to modify the look of your exhibit to bring it up-to-date. Here are five things you can do to revitalize your trade show exhibit:

  1. Replace Graphics

Graphics are one of the easiest and most cost-effective display elements to update. Change your graphics often, and make sure your graphic messages align closely with your goals for each specific show.

  1. Install Hanging Banners

Take advantage of the space above your display by adding hanging banners, if show rules and regulations allow. These can make a great impact and draw attention to your booth from across the show floor because of their height.

  1. Add Furniture & Accessories

If you have the space, add furniture such as tables, podiums or lounge seating to your display. You can also revitalize your booth by adding new accessories like literature stands, monitors with a video loop, or freestanding shelving units.

  1. Add New Display Sections – Increase Booth Space

If you need a bigger display but don’t want to purchase a new one right now, you can purchase add-on sections. These can be designed to complement your existing display and will provide the additional space you need for materials, staff and interacting with visitors.

  1. Upgrade Your Lighting

Replace outdated fixtures or add new lighting elements to make your exhibit more vibrant. Remember that different types of lighting and different color lights can create ambience. You can also use lighting to highlight areas of the exhibit you’d like attendees to focus on.
