Four Times it Makes More Sense to Rent a Display

Purchasing a custom display for trade shows is ideal in many situations, but there are also instances when it makes more sense to rent — when you’re on a super tight schedule, for example. Here are four other situations where renting a display is a good option:

You’d like greater flexibility to change the branding of your booth.

Renting a display allows you to alter the design, layout, and size of your booth as often as you’d like. This is a great advantage if your business is new and exploring new ideas and aesthetics.

A show requires a display that’s larger or smaller than what you currently own.

If you have a custom display already, but are doing a single show where the dimensions of your display just don’t align well with your booth space dimensions.

You are on a tight budget.

Purchasing a custom display is more expensive than renting a display – it typically costs about two-thirds more to purchase a display. When you rent a display, you also avoid long-term ownership expenses such as storage, insurance, repairs, transportation and end-of-life disposal fees. Renting requires only that you ship the display back when you’re done.

You need to exhibit in multiple shows at the same time.

Renting is a great option if the trade shows you plan to exhibit at overlap or the dates are too close for transporting your display from one place to the next.
